To provide ongoing emotional support needed to help parents and other survivors deal with the pain of their loss and facilitate the reconstruction of lives.

To provide information about the grief process and the criminal justice system as they pertain to survivors of homicide victims. To communicate with professionals, community leaders, at risk youths, and justice system about the problems faced by those homicide survivors. To increase public awareness of the multitudes of problems faced by survivors by any means possible.

For the families and friends of those who have been murdered due to gang or gun violence.

PROJECT CRY NO MORE / ALL VOICES UNITE is a self –help organization designed solely to offer emotional support and information about surviving the loss of a loved one to murder.  Vicky D. Lindsey was one of the initial founders of JUSTICE FOR MURDERERED CHILDREN.  She also founded PROJECT CRY NO MORE and co-founded ALL VOICES UNITE with Felicia Parks.  Vicky’s 19 year-old son, Lionel and his father were both murder victims. Felicia’s daughter, Lori Gonzales, the 20 year-old granddaughter of Councilman Bernard Parks was murdered in 2000.

WHEN A LOVED ONE IS MURDERED

Facing the death of a loved one is never easy.  When murder occurs, the anger, pain and grief are compounded by the crushing realization that another person intentionally took the life of someone precious to you. Adding to the family’s trauma are intrusions into their grief.  Police, lawyers, and others need information, evidence, and testimonies.  Television and newspaper reporters often focus upon the victim without consulting the family.  When a suspect is apprehended, preliminary hearings, postponements, trials, and sentencing – all force grieving families to face what may seem to be a lack of understanding and justice.  In situations where the murder is unsolved, or justice is otherwise compromised, there is even greater pain and confusion.  We want you to know that
